The trails - Well I don't really no where to start with this section. There are just so many fantastic trails out there just waiting for you to discover and ride. From the numerous fire tracks and bridleways all the through to challangeing decents and plenty of fast, twisty, rooty singletrack.
There are purpose built trails and barely visable deer tracks, plenty of steep climbs both short and more prolonged, a whole range of drop offs and roll ins, sandy trails and muddy trails and even chalk ones.
Many of the more popular trails have names with the only problem being that many have at least two such as Golden Birdie/Barry Knows Best. or Yogurt Pots/Park Life or Christmas Pudding/Claw Hammer.
Anyway, thats enough talking, they say a picture says a thousand words so lets see some snaps of whats on offer.
Simon on the Redlands trails flagship trail 'Summer Lightning'. You may notice all the Redlands trails are named very sensibly, in my opinion, after beers.
George doing 'Punch the Clock' on Leith Hill. Never have I seen this done more smoothly than when George flew down it after 5 pints of Tallywhacker at the Plough.
Mark on what is now known as 'Windy Willow' high up on Leith Hill.
This is 'Pipeline' leading down from the top of St Marthas hill near Guildford, in can be tricky in places as George demonstrates.
This is Tony on Golden Birdies or is that Barry Knows Best or that other name people give this trail that escapes me at the moment. Whatever, its a superb trail to blast down and can be found on Holmbury Hill.
This is me towards the end of 'Windy Willow' on one of the three log rolls. Great trail but probably best avoided after prolonged rain as it gets very muddy.
Duncan at the end of 'Christmas Pudding' aka 'Claw Hammer' - Yet another beautiful singletrack trail.
Just don't ask whats going on here - it is quite a nice trail though.
This is me in the quarry on Leith Hill. There are plenty of jumps and roll ins to play on in this place.
